Harriet endorses a positive & encouraging teaching ethos based on enjoying music whilst safeguarding against unhealthy vocal use. She regularly organises Student Recitals & enters students in Vocal Competitions, Festivals & Singing Exams - with many attaining Passes with Merit & Distinction across the various Singing genres. She teaches primarily Classical Singing, but also works with those wishing to pursue Musical Theatre & Popular Vocals Singing, alongside singing purely for pleasure! Many of Harriet's students have extended their Singing experience to include membership of Ulster Youth Choir, National Youth Music Theatre, New Lyric Operatic Company, Belfast Operatic Company, the Belfast Philharmonic Choir, Stagecoach & school choirs amongst other performance groups. In 2010 an 11-yr-old student also successfully auditioned to play a singing character in a short film featured on BBC NI. In 2012 several of Harriet's students will be appearing in Grand Opera House productions in Belfast. All ages and abilities are welcome! A number of lesson programmes are offered - Introduces children to melody and rhythm in a fun bitesize way - also promotes tuneful singing from a young age. Excellent preparation for the LCM Step 1 & 2 Music Theatre Tests and the ABRSM Prep. Test. Includes various genres of singing, suitable for all standards. Taken at the student's pace. Promoting the healthy use of the voice and enjoying music. Can include preparation for Exams and Festivals if desired. Ideal for those studying towards Grades 7 and 8 Exams, or those wishing to also pursue Music Theory Exams. "Musical Introductions" Lessons (for ages 6 - 7): £9 per weekly 20 minute lesson

Standard Lessons (for ages 8 & up): £14 per weekly 30 minute lesson

Extended Lessons (for ages 8 & up): £21 per weekly 45 minute lesson
